This design was created for the Newcastle 7-piece dance/funk band 'Slapjack.'

The idea behind this T-shirt design was to represent the essence and flair of the band's funk roots through the form of a playing card. The idea uses twin horns to represent the band's brass section as well as seven central stars representing the members themselves. The design went through various iterations before settling on the final image above.
